How it fits
Teams calling is part of the licence for our Vodia platform, not a separate service bolted on beside it. We have it configured on our own Microsoft 365, and we can set it up on yours.
Most of the offices on our phones use the app and a few desk phones. Teams calling suits a different kind of office: one where people already spend the day in Teams, on a laptop and a headset, and would rather not have a second app for calls.
What it involves
The Microsoft side
Depending on your Microsoft 365 plan, staff may need an added Microsoft licence to make calls in Teams. We check that as part of the quote. All Managed IT, part of the same company, is a Microsoft Partner and resells Microsoft 365, so we can arrange the Microsoft side as well as the phone side.
The phone side
Your numbers move to our platform in the usual way, as described on keeping your numbers. From there we set up calling in Teams for the staff who want it.
When you send your bill, tell us how many staff would make calls from Teams. We include the setup in the quote, and if desk phones or the app would suit some of your staff better, we say so.
