Keeping your business phone numbers when you move

Your numbers come with you. A 1300 or 1800 stays with its current provider and forwards to your numbers on our platform.

What moves

Moving a number from one provider to another is called porting. It runs through the carriers: the provider that holds your number today releases it to ours.

Your main number

The number on your door, your vans and your website moves to our platform and keeps ringing where you tell it to.

A whole number range

If you have a block of numbers, such as a range of a hundred, tell us, and it goes into the quote.

Your 1300 or 1800

It stays with the provider that holds it today and forwards to your numbers on our platform. We monitor those forwards so a failure is flagged to us rather than waiting for a customer to notice.

A fax number

If you still have one, tell us. Fax can be part of the quote.

How long it takes

We do not put a timeframe on this page. Porting runs through the carrier, and the honest answer depends on who holds the number today. Once we have seen your bill, we will tell you what to expect for your numbers.

What we need from you

Your last phone bill, and the last three or four if you have them. The bill shows which numbers you have, who holds them and whether any are part of a range, and the same bills are what we use to size your calls. You do not need to make a list.
